I lost my fitness mojo from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Yes, I know better. I fell off the wagon and wanted to start 2016 bright-eyed and bushy-tailed with the goal to be consistent with my fitness this year. My New Year's Resolution, albeit unoriginal, is something I'm determined to keep up throughout the year. Bring it on 2016.... bring it on...
I saw that Core Studios was running a special for January 2016 - $99 unlimited classes (reformer classes included). This is a STELLAR deal for Pilates reformer classes (they can get really pricey). Thus, I jumped on the opportunity to try it.
I opted to join their 'Fit Club' which extended a challenge that states they will honor the $99 promotional special for 3 additional months if you attend 20 classes within the first month/ 5 classes a week. The challenge is keeping me accountable and is getting me back into the swing of things.
I've really loved each Pilates class and instructor thus far. The Reformer Sculpt, TRX / Chair Barre, Reformer Tone, and Reformer Sweat classes are all unique and challenging in their own way. Every class is different and keeps me interested. I'm never stuck doing the same thing over and over again. Every class guarantees a killer 55 minute workout that is geared towards toning and strengthen your body from head to toe. Don't underestimate how tough of a workout Pilates can be. It is low impact but will whip you into shape (no joke), improve your flexibility, improve your posture and help with mind-body awareness.
Like most things in life, classes are what you put into it. Every class can be made as challenging as you like. The instructors are hands-on and will help you with modifications for every move. Core Studios has reacquainted me with what it feels like to really love my workout.
Hook line and sinker.... they got me.
I love Core Studios.
