  • Many moons have passed since I last tried indoor paintball, and I recall it being a fun but messy experience. Tag Zone removes the messiness from the game without taking away the fun - win-win! TZ is easy to miss, as most of its space is underground, but despite the relatively modest square footage it is well laid out. The maze itself is very intricate and lit by blacklights, and the walls are loaded with spy holes. The staff obviously enjoy what they do and are personable and accommodating to everyone. They explained the rules thoroughly and offered a wide array of games. Ours was a very small group (5), but it was a good size for introducing newbies to paintless paintball. We received a vest, mask, gun, and unlimited access to the rubber pellets for the price. As a bonus, birthday participants get in free and receive a t-shirt! Each round lasted 5 minutes, so even if you got hit early on, it wasn't much of a wait until the next game. $39 gets you 2 hours of game time...and it FLIES by. Great music helps to boost the fun as well. I'm not very good at sports and games in general, but I was impressed by my experience at Tag Zone. It was worth all the welts!
