| - My very first hot yoga experience and I have to admit: I liked it A LOT.
I was resisting to this hot yoga trend because I don't like to sweat, I don't like heat, so I basically hate the soul of hot yoga, right? IT'S MEANT TO BE HOT AND MAKE YOU MELT.
Well, I could deal with the heat, my instructor asked me lots of questions and made sure I had a towel and a water bottle before starting the class, and emphasized that I should lay down and rest if I felt tired or weird at some point (it wasn't necessary, thought, as I wisely chose a shorter version of Moksha, 60min only)
They rent towels and lend water bottles, and have a bright and clean (yet communal) shower room, with free antibacterial soap. The studio is amazingly clean and smells fresh.
The location is great, steps from a subway (Jane) and there are plenty of bike posts in front of it.
It's not a cheap place, but you can get a first month pass for $40.
