  • Cox is a trash company that lies and charges you for items you already returned. I got a minibox from them in 2017 and have a witness who was there when I got and returned the equipment. The rental agreement was through the apartment complex so I did not have to pay for the rental and was thus never given a receipt when I got the equipment or when I returned it. Cox is now conveniently saying that the serial number on the equipment does not match the one I returned and they are charging me for it. I only rented the one minibox and returned it on time. I was never offered a receipt or told that I could get one. They are a bunch of scammers who keep repeating that it is company policy for the responsibility to be on the customer. If your employees are the ones who mess up, the responsibility is on them and the company, NOT the customers who returned everything that needed to be returned.
