Came on a Tuesday night and there weren't a lot of people. Even though the shaved ice was the most eye appealing dessert item on the menu, we wanted to have something salty and savoury. It was unfortunate and a little disappointed that the waiter said that there was no more noodles or rice. We ordered the Taiwanese Crispy Chicken and the Crispy Salt and Pepper Egg Tofu.
1) the Taiwanese Crispy chicken was pretty tasty and not too salty. It was crispy but not over fried and not too oily. There was a good amount of fried chicken for the price of $6.99. Pretty pleased with this choice.
2) the Crispy salt and pepper egg tofu was not bad but not great. It was very typical egg tofu you can get at Chinese supermarkets, but the only difference is the thin batter that covered the egg tofu. Each piece was overly salted and covered with too much pepper. It blocked most of the egg tofu flavour.
Overall I would give it a 3/5 because of the egg tofu.
