We went for the seven course with wine pairing on a weekday night as we found ourselves in Champaign and wanted a nice night out. The food was good for the most part but not spectacular. The final course was the equivalent of an ice cream cake and very anticlimactic. They had rushed us through seven courses and cafe in under 1.5 hours. The place wasn't full so it wasn't to free our table.
They should bring the wine pairings out and pour them in front of you giving you the opportunity to more fully examine the maker. The same could be said about explaining or detailing the origins of the food ingredients, which did indeed seem to be of high quality.
Server was very good, bar tender seemed a little disinterested.
As for price, I paid the same amount a few weeks ago at home in Rome at a well known neighborhood place where the food and wine were superior.
