  • The spa area is nice. Big showers, clean, decent lockers and very nice relaxation lounge. This is better than expected considering this seems to be more of a business hotel. This property is about a block from the strip. Pretty easy access. Spa is upstairs to the left if you're entering from main entrance. Girls at desk when you check in are efficient. I found the massage to be fine although the masseuse spoke a bit more than I like. Worth mentioning it was very hot in the locker room area and cooler in hallway. Apparently they have problems regulating temperature. As long as you're getting a Groupon you're fine but don't pay regular price. Way overpriced for that. Also, do NOT get a manicure here. Way overpriced. Nicole was definitely not interested in giving a manicure. What she was interested in was how much money she could charge for everything including soaking off the gel manicure. I've never paid extra for that but here it was an additional $15. In fact she probably took 20 minutes of time out of the manicure explaining all the extra costs. She really hurried through the process. Was not relaxing at all and she ran out of time to do everything I had reserved. The problem with this spa is that the girls are expected to know how to do everything. In the case of Nicole she is expected to do facials, manicures, hair, etc. That ensures they have enough work to make money. But it doesn't work well for clients because every time one of women has a new procedure they have to spend time looking for the supplies and get their head straight trying to figure out where to next concentrate their efforts. It's much better when you have a manicurist who does just that. Or hair expert concentrating on hair. If you're a jack (or jill) of all trades then you're a master of none. I wouldn't return.
