  • We used GI Construction for a renovation. They seemed very nice at first when we had our first meeting. By the second meeting it was apparent they hadn't listened to any of our wishes. They kept trying to up sell us on everything. Also as another reviewer said, they kept saying, how much do you want to spend. There was no breakdown of what things would cost. We decided to use them (why, I don't know) We were told we'd always get a call to let us know when someone would arrive. That never happened even though we would ask constantly. There were days we'd sit around for hours after being told someone would come, and it would be a no show. Also, once the project was almost finished, it seemed they had bigger projects to do. Two weeks went by with maybe 2 people coming to our house. Someone always had to be around watching the workers to make sure they didn't screw something up. When they finally finished, they sent one of their guys to clean the room. I walked in and he was sleeping on our floor. The project came out nice only because we had to watch everything, but we'd never use them again.
