  • I've waited a bit to write a review, but I guess now it's time. I've been here for nearly three weeks. Yeah yeah some might say the problems might come later but don't worry, if needed be, I'll update my review. But for now, they get 5 stars. My experience was pleasant from the very beginning when I showed up five minutes prior to the office closing and had someone dropping what they were doing to give me a tour. Felicia was pleasant and sweet while showing me the unit. The next day I came back to look at a different unit and this time it was Olivia who showed me around. Also very pleasant, personable and overall a nice person. I decided to move on with the application and this time Rachele helped me with everything. Through the whole process all three ladies were courteous, pleasant and amazing to me. Except with the discrepancy on the average cost for water bill. Each one of them gave me an "average amount" and at the end of the day, guess I'll just hVe to wait and see how my bill is gonna look like because they named from $15 to $65.. that's quite a range, but we'll see. When I moved in there were a few minor things that needed some TLC. I made a small list and dropped it off. I went away for a few days for work and when I came back everything was fixed and the maintenance guy even left me a note apologizing for the inconvenience. Nice touch. Onto the building. I read some horror reviews but so far, I haven't had any of the negative experiences other people listed. I will address a few of them tho. 1- grounds are well kept. Maybe one light post missing a light, maybe some rocks out of place, but overall it's well kept and pretty. 2- dog poop. Yes, there's dog poop sometimes . But honestly, when I go on my morning jog around the neighborhood I see the same thing. Maybe it's a Scottsdale people thing? There's Gross and nasty people everywhere. I have seen notices on my neighbors door and other doors of people who have dogs, letting them know they are breaking building rules by not picking up the poop, so at least they are doing something about it. It's hard to catch who's guilty, but at least they are trying I guess. You will see some dog poop tho. 3- I haven't had a single issue with anyone parking on my designated spot. My sister came visit on a Saturday night and was able to find guest park. So guess it's a hit or miss. But please don't blame the place if you own two cars and signed a lease KNOWING the unit only comes with one spot. Nobody twisted your arm. 4- yes, walls are thin. But the complex is quiet. I haven't heard much other than steps of someone walking outside at night. No parties either. I can hear a little bit of the neighbors bass when he's listening to music but that's it. The thing is, this is not my first rodeo, so when I'm apartment shopping I don't even look at downstairs units. You should know better! You will hear everything from an upstairs neighbor ANYWHERE you live. So don't complain if you chose a unit downstairs and that shares a bedroom wall with another unit. Shame is on you, not the apartment. It's an old building, do your homework. 5- my unit doesn't face RAintree dr. So it's very quiet. Really quiet. I've seen people complaining about the noise on raintree. Again, don't blame the complex if you choose a unit facing a Main Street. Come on now! 6- gym is small but SUPER well kept. 7- leasing office is neat and I work there quite a bit. 8- pool area.. I haven't used yet so can't comment on that. 9- management is attentive. My toilet was still problematic after they fixed and the manager was super dedicated to fix things for me. I came back from work one day and they had replaced the whole thing. She genuinely showed concern and I LOVED that. 10- my appliances work well and I had no issue with bugs or bad draining so far. (Again, not first rodeo. Everyone knows downstairs units tend to have more draining issues than upstairs) 11- even though a bit small, the one bedroom has plenty of storage space. I moved from a two bedroom two baths 1120sq feet condo and was able to fit everything I own here, except for the second bedroom. Unless you're a clutter, you're gonna be fine living alone in terms of space. There's cabinets on kitchen, closet, space above closet, extra small closet in living room, plenty of shelves on Landry room and an extra cabinet by the bathroom entrance. YOU WILL BE FINE. Overall I'm super happy. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe (and I hope not!) shit is gonna happen and I'll change my mind but for now, thumbs up for living here. Loving loving loving my new home.
