This business pays for the positive yelp reviews -- they have a framed sign in the exam room offering $5 off the service if you write a review and show it to the receptionist. I used this clinic because of Yelp and feel totally deceived.
I could go on for pages about the terrible experience I had at this place, but will keep short:
* The receptionist completely misrepresented the wait time and the prioritization of patients -- even offered me a non-existent appointment -- to get me in the door.
* After a two hour plus wait the vet -- Dr. Kirshenbaum -- provided distinctly incomplete and unhelpful information about my pet's condition. I ended up calling my regular vet the next day to get the information that I needed.
* My cat HATED the vet tech and vet; I have never seen him respond so poorly to a vet's bedside manner.
* The visit was unbelievably expensive with lots of extras that turned out to be unnecessary.
Just all around a shoddy place. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because they did not kill my cat. Unless it is a life or death matter, I would avoid using the after-hours / emergency clinic and instead seek out one of the many fantastic veterinarian offices in Scottsdale.
Do not believe the positive reviews -- they are paid advertising.
