| - I applaud this location for making tasty and wonderfully textured bagels. I bought a dozen of their everything bagels in order to compare them to another bagel shop on the east side of town, and here is what I think distinguishes them from each other.
Flavor: good
Texture: excellent
Size: noticeably smaller, especially when using Cleveland bagel company products to make breakfast or lunch sandwiches
Price: at $14 a dozen, you are getting less product for more money, because the Eastside location not only has larger bagels, they give you a free bagel with each dozen, lowering the per-unit cost even further.
If I lived equidistant between the two locations, I'd have to always choose the Eastside location for their longer hours, larger product, and better value. The only category where would give this location the edge is the texture of their warm bagels was slightly more chewy.
As a rideshare driver, I think this location is missing an opportunity for late night service given the number of hungry partygoers looking for substantial food after 1 o'clock in the morning,; hot bagel sandwiches would be a wonderful way to keep people out of the Taco Bell drive-through line.
