  • This is seriously a Food-4-Less on steroids. Like every grocery store, they have a produce and frozen food section, deli, bakery and everything in between. Deals everywhere!! This sounds crazy but I have never stepped into a Winco until today and I was pretty amazed. Their bulk section was the best part!! Candy, nuts, grains, spices, etc, they have it all in bulk. We eat a lot of basmati rice at home, so it was nice buying more than the 2 lb. bags you find in other stores. I was also amazed by all the things I have never seen at a grocery store before, like beet hummus and Sriracha popcorn. My BF also found these hot links he ate as a kid but could never find at our other grocery store. The reason I don't give it 5 stars was because I saw some fruit that looked a bit suspect. The vegetables looked fresh though. Also, non-food items (body wash, shampoo, baby products, etc) are cheaper at Target or Walmart. $7 for a bottle of Dove body wash?!?! Get the eff out of here!!! That bottle is like $5 elsewhere. Like other reviews have said, some things are a bargain while some others aren't. Just know your prices.
