| - Agave pediatrics came highly recommended but proved to be highly disappointing in my experience. This review is based on a prenatal visit only, in which they dropped the ball in several areas:
-when I scheduled the prenatal visit, I was told it was at 430. When I received a confirmation call, I was told 445. I called back to see if it was 430 or 445 and again was told 445. When I arrived at 440, I was scolded for being late and "reminded" that it was at 430. Totally confusing. This happened to a few other couples in our group as well.
-initially we were thrown in a room and told to watch a video. The video was of extremely poor quality, hard to understand, and basically 30 minutes of information that took me only 10 minutes to glean off the website which I had done prior to this visit.
-then we had to wait about 20 minutes for the doctor to come in and speak with us. She was still seeing patients, which made me wonder why they didn't just host this meeting at 445 or later to give her ample time to finish her work, especially as we had to leave work early to attend this cheap video followed by waiting.
-when the doctor did come in, she seemed flustered and basically repeated everything the video said, and then offered q and a time.
-this prenatal visit is only offered at one location with one doctor who stays at the one location. Since we live closer to another location and were planning on going to the other one, this meet n greet was virtually useless because we were seeing a location and Doctor we would likely utilize.
-they are expanding at a rapid rate and seem spread thin. I get the sense that it's more about getting more business and expanding rather than caring for kids
-they use a lot of "stock" photos of cute kids in the videos and around the office and 90% of them are cute white girls. I noticed this because we are having a boy so this seemed unrelatable.
The office is aesthetically pleasing and I've heard they are flexible with alternative vaccination schedules which is appealing but they really need to pay attention to first impressions and caring about potential new patients- I really felt like just a number.
