| - Being a book worm, I had to visit this cleverly named book shop. I'm so glad I did!
It's a small little shop which adds to the cozy book nook feel. There's a small selection of well selected books from different genres like religion, philosophy, biography, essays, fiction and young adult. I was surprised to see a translation of the Chinese I Ching in the religion section.
Besides books, there's a variety of eye catching paraphernalia like notebooks, cards, games and trinkets. Did I mention there's a rabbit in the back? Yeah, there's a bookshop pet rabbit. You thought that was the most interesting thing? No, no, there's also an artificial bird sanctuary in the back and a placard which directs you to take a solemn oath of duty to caring for your artificial bird.
Walking there from Container Park was a bit questionable as you start to leave the revitalized parts of Downtown but it was only three blocks away from Container Park. There's also a cool record shop located across the street, so do a two-fer and pop in there too.
