| - Since I've lived here for more than 1 year, I believe it's time to write this review.
To be honest, this place is better than other apartment at this area, the location is good, price is ok...
Pros:
1. People live here are very friendly and well-educated. You can hardly find such friendly residents in other apartment...at the first day when I moved in, our Uhaul blocked the driveway and we were busy moving our furnitures upstairs, no one came to blame us, at least 3 friendly neighbors offered us help, which made us feel so welcomed, and that never happened before. After we moved here we always take a walk after dinner in our community, almost everyone smiled and said hello to you when we passed by.
2. Quiet, quiet,very quiet place! I am a freelance illustrator and stay at home drawing most of my time, I barely hear any annoying noises like party or from any drunk one....a very nice place to stay if you are also a quiet person enjoy peaceful moment!
3. Clean and well maintained. Never seen any trash on the ground and maintenance guy(named Tommy) here is extremely friendly and efficient.
Cons:
1. I have to say, two ladies work in the leasing office are very unprofessional. They are rude, especially the one named Martin. The funny thing is, when you go to office to pick up packages at 5:30, that lady is ready to rush out of the office, when you accidentally meet her at the office she will tell you: no, I can not let you get your packages because I have a bus to catch! Then she left with you stand there.....the business hour is until 6pm though.....They always leave office 30 mins earlier and come 30 mins late.....which makes a lot of residents waiting outside their office....I hope you treat your job seriously!!!!
2. I have no idea if it's because I made wrong decision when I chose the floor plan... I pick the loft to live in, the electricity bill is incredibly high.... Last summer I paid around 300 bucks every months from June to October! In addition, the loft area seems to be nice but you can hardly stay there and work because there's no window which makes you breath hardly...when you turn on AC, that area get soooo cold and makes you feel sick... So basically I can only use that area for storage...totally a waste. DONT take the LOFT floor plan, save your money..save yourself.
To sum up, a NICE, Quiet, friendly place to live in, but make sure to stay away from the LOFT floor plan and try to calm yourself down and make your schedule fit their's when you pick up your packages...BTW..those ladies work in the office are very forgetful.. So make sure to remind them more than 3 times if you require a maintenance!
