One of my favorite things to do when I move to a new city is try to find good pizza. Not an easy task, but I have succeeded in Dallas, TX and Chapel Hill, NC. I'm not talking about fancy-shmancy coal oven pizza (although I do like that occasionally). Rather, I'm talking about a good solid slice. The kind you fold, and the point stays parallel to the ground...doesn't bend like a wet noodle.
Tommy (Brooklyn native) and his crew have the recipe down pat (with all of the NY attitude). Best slice I've had in Phoenix, by far. If you're up in Cave Creek, Tommy's brother owns a place called #1 brothers - also very good.
