  • My sister and I stopped by for a quick before dinner snack. Their menu is extensive with a million topping choices as well as sausage options. We ordered the bratwurst stuffed pretzel with a spicy beer hot sausage - $9. The sausage came out encased on a what appeared to be a pretzel boat. It was loaded with sauerkraut, onion, bacon and dressed with swiss + sweet bavarian mustard. It was a little difficult to eat because it was so enormous, and the sausage to bread ratio was a little off, but other than that, it was good. The spicy beer hot sausage was delicious - hot, and the casing had a nice snap when you bit into it. My favorite of the night was something call the aiko with a bratwurst - $8. Listed under the signature dog list, it comes enveloped in naan bread and topped with mango chutney + drizzle mayo. This dog made me a naan believer - I don't know what it is with the combination of the bratwurst + naan bread, but it was unlike anything I've ever eaten and it was good. Short Leash's innovative approach to take an old American favorite into a foray of new flavors won me over. Kudos to them and their sausage game.
