My wife and I had been to Joe's Farm and Grill three months ago and thought we try it again. My wife has a lot food allergies. Joe's seemed to pass her allergies test with the grilled salmon at the last visit. I had the double Sonoran Dogs. I thought the food was ok.
What we really enjoy is the farm itself. We enjoyed this visit and the last by just walking the farm and relaxing at the prayer garden.
Our visit yesterday was a bit more crazy. I guess families and sweet hearts go the the farm and grill. We arrived at 2:30p and the line was out the door. We walked the farm until 3:30p. The line was out the door but only by 4 people. We place our order at 4:03p and found a table outside. I had to go to the bathroom and waited in a line. We sat for 30 min to finally get our food.
My wife went with the plain burger since the beef was local and unseasoned with a salad and milk shake. I went with the BBQ Chicken Pizza because all the Yelpers placed a bunch of awesome photos of this beast with a soda.
My wife liked her burger and loved her shake. I was rather underwhelmed with a grilled pizza dough with a chicken tender cut up(seriously like a single tender chopped up maybe 1once of meat) and placed on top. Little cheese and a squirt of BBQ sauce. I wanted to take a photo but thought better to embarrass the farm. It's overall flavor was dough because the toppings were missing.
Over all food was ok and the wait is too long for ok food that cost almost $30. We tried to get in prior to the dinner rush as we did for our first visit ( 4pm). This could have been a off day for the Farm and Grill. We will likely stop in again for one last try to make our final thoughts. The farm grounds are too cool not to visit.
