Over priced. Poor quality food. The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because our waiter was amazing (Paul L). If it wasn't for him this review would be a 2. To start, we were a party of 5 and placed at a very cramped table between two parties of 10+ people. We were practically rubbing elbows with the party next to us. So by this time we are cramped and hungry. Looking over the menu I see the prices are a little high. Something to be expected for the Bellagio signature restaurant. However, I did not expect a Caesar salad to cost $18. I've had my share of caesars and some are $18 worthy because the dressing and ingredients are amazing. This one was probably worth $8. When I got the salad the leaves were soggy like they'd been sitting in dressing way longer than before I ordered it, this is the same for the croutons. The dressing had very little flavor and I felt there was very little on the salad. For an $18 salad I should not have to order more dressing.
We also ordered an order of the crispy taters. These were very VERY dry. They were covered in cheese and garlic. The cheese was not melted, and the pieces of the taters that didn't have the cheese and garlic had no flavor. It was almost like eating crispy cardboard.
The saving grace, besides our wonderful server (Paul L), was the beef carpaccio. This was amazing, and if I were to go back, which I don't plan to, I would get it again.
For such a nice restaurant I was extremely unimpressed with the food and the atmosphere. Would not recommend.
