  • I don't think I actually know anyone my age who has a Costco card, only friends who mooch off their parents account (guilty!). I was bummed to find out they don't accept AMEX anymore, but switched over to the Citi card instead, or they accept cash or check. The prices can't be beat, especially if you actually need two pounds of salsa and five pounds of mac and cheese at a time. I love all the new health conscious items they have in store, and name brands they carry. This is not the place to do weekly shopping (unless you have a big family) but for special occasions if you are single or live with a few roomies. Come prepared with bag if you don't want your items in cardboard boxes. They change up the location of items in the store and don't mark the aisles, which can be really frustrating if you are looking for something specifically, but they do it so you walk around the entire store. But don't worry, there are free samples with every corner you turn. Plus, there is always parking!! I also bought 4 tires from here for my Ford Focus, and am happy with the service and quality I got at a decent price. Thanks, Costco!
