We found out about Barrio Cafe after seeing it on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
We went at the perfect time as we were able to get a table right away. It filled up while we were eating. The space is tightly packed but not horribly too tight. The only drawback it how loud it got at times with people talking.
I ordered the Cochinita Pibil while my boyfriend ordered the Chiles en Nogada. The pork in my Cochinita Pibil was very tender but was missing some flavor. Chiles en Nogada, on the other hand, had such an amazing flavor. I would recommend that to anyone. They both came with tasty mashed potatoes and a corn and zucchini side. Very yummy.
The staff was friendly and helpful with questions we had.
