rev:text	Well time for an update. Not much has changed at Torreyana. They have new management, again. Yes the upgraded apartments look very nice. (They ought to for over $1100 mo not including utilities for a one bedroom.) The "gated" community's gates don't function properly and are left open several times a week. They close the pool for "maintenance" from 7pm-10am and then only open one gate after 10:00 am. We had to go inside the office to ask the staff to get maintenance over there to clean the pool more than once. There is still a big dog poop problem all over the complex. Granted, not really the fault of the management (it's the type of people you let rent here that is the problem) but then again, we do pay commons area maintenance fees every month of $25 so we expect the poop to be picked up. There are police SUV's at the back of the complex at least once a week dealing with the same apartment and issues. (I have a friend who lives in the back of the complex and has witnessed this). The grounds are not kept up near as nice as when Camden owned the property. Shrubs are dead all over and there's always empty bottles and debris in the courtyard area. Management told one of the renters that instead of complaining all the time she should "just move and get out. No one forces you to live here!" (Nice...) We only resigned our lease because we did not want to deal with apartment hunting and moving in the heat of summer. But believe me.. we will not resign again and if an opportunity presents itself to go elsewhere before our lease is up we WILL break it. Look elsewhere people.
