  • Lux is one of those coffee shops in Phoenix that as a coffee lover, you must try once, because whether you like it or not, this is a beehive for people and ideas. Aside from boasting solid roasts, a large baked goods selection, and a full bar, its central location and late hours makes this 'the spot' for hipsters, millennials, freelancers, and students alike. If you like to people watch and engage in random conversation amidst laptop work, or come hang out with your friends, this is the place. I've been approached to be a hair model (not creepy, awesome), gotten recommendations on books, found and returned a wallet, and gotten my laptop work done, all while sitting down by pink Starship Trooper paintings on the wall. Bring your headphones if you want to tune the chaos out, but if you'd rather do that, you should probably go to another coffee shop instead.
