| - As a previous tenant (2 years), I have one comment: STAY AWAY FROM HAVEN HOMES!!! From the beginning they were unprofessional. When I signed the lease I was told the house would be ready for me to move in to on the date in the lease. during that visit, I identified dead roaches, filthy bathrooms, etc. I was told it would be professionally cleaned before I moved in. Not so! Two full weeks after my lease went into effect, they had it cleaned. three months into my lease, I used the bathtub in the Master Bath. Leaked - huge water mark on the ceiling in the family room. Submitted maintenance request X 3 and never responded. Both summers, the AC went out on the hottest days. They responded to these complaints in a timely manner. The heat went out on New Year's eve 2015 - one of the coldest days of the season. Did they send someone out? No, its a holiday. Well get back to you the day after. So I was supposed to stay in a hotel? No, I had it repaired at my expense. Water leakage - in addition to the bathtub (which I never used after the one time), turns out that when the guest bath was used for showering, there was another leak, this time into the garage. I called and left a message, surprise NO RESPONSE. (next tenant beware - there is black sooty stuff behind the hot water heater). What makes me really angry - they brag about renting to Military people! In addition to those people being treated to this low level of customer service, Haven charges 2 full months of rent if the lease is broken early due to relocation by the military. So be forewarned - this is a crappy company!!
