  • The only reason I don't give them a single star is because I'm hoping one day they get back to form. My family has been going to the Salt Cellar for many many years and this place stole our business. They always made amazing seafood, fish, and believe it or not had the best wings hands down! Now its just not the same. I heard they switched or lost their main chef, I don't know if thats true. But I bragged this place up for years and finally got my entire girlfriends family to try it as they're big seafood fans. Absolutely terrible the last couple viists. Nobody finished their plate. The staff is still excellent and extremely knowledable about the menu. The cook needs to go! I feel bad because I know it hurts their tips. To say the least after paying for the whole meal and about $200+ later I was upset and won't be back. Salt Cellar is a farther drive but if I'm dropping that much money in a restaurant I want my money's worth.
