By far the worst experience I have had at a hospital. I went in with severe pain, vomiting and chest pains and they seemed to have cared less about the chest pains since they gave me pain meds and drew labs then had me back in the lobby. After 2 hours the practioner(sp) (she was great) came out to give me some of my results. At that time she asked how I felt and I was still in severe pain. She let me know that someone will call me back and I would recieve more meds to see if that helped. After another hour the nurse Jill came out and this is where things turned to hell. She asked if I had did a UA sample yet and I explained to her that I didn't have enough fluids in me to pee and I was drinking water to help. I explained I was in severe pain and my chest was bothering me, at that time she said what I have never heard a RN say to a patient and that Im not helping you till I have tour urine. Seriously, you have already given me morphine and the doc told you to give me another dose to help reduce the pain and discomfort. She then said it was for the ct and i asked to sign the waiver knowing im not prego due to certain circumstances that they where aware of. She told me no yet ive seen 2 other patients do it for lower abdomen scans and ive also done it. She then started getting lound with me saying ohh no its for labs. I told her that if the care i was recieving continued i would leave and go to Nellis. Jill decided to have more rude things to say about that. RN Jill also had a hard time from keeping my heath issues quite while in the lobby and that goes against my rights. At no time should Jill have mentioned anything regarding my health in the lobby full of people. Once she walked away i tried to give a ua and it was very little. I was called back by xray and as Im being rolled back we pass her and her stink eye was just stating me down like she had more issues. She was as rude as they come and if this is how she carries herself than its time for her to change fields because no patient should have to deal with a nurse who could careless about what the issues are and who is just flat out rude. The only good part of this visit was the nurse prac.
