Got stuck in charlotte for the night and thought I would find a nice place downtown and settle in for a good nights sleep.
Wrong
The place is loud, crowd is sketchy, rooms are ok at best and mine had a weird layout.
Decor is old, for some reason the bathroom made me feel like I should have brought shower shoes.
There's also a really weird sweet smell in the hallway so either they have a very bizarre deodorizer or i expect multiple pizza deliveries and loads of traffic to the vending machines for Doritos.
To make matters even worse you have to pay steep prices for wifi, circa 2005 (dont they even have free wifi in prisons nowadays?) and the bed steeps to one side.
The $7 bottle of water in my room made we wonder if there was an apocalypse i wasn't aware , or perhaps I woke up in a third world ritz Carlton?
I should have saved the $150 and slept in the airport lobby.
Pass pass and pass again
