rev:text	This is the worst business that I've ever been through. Not only that they were rude and unprofessional, they were making profit from using the lack of knowledge of an unexperienced person. I came in and dropped off a MacBook for a checkup. Later on, they quoted me $575 for "full repair". I asked if that could bring my laptop back to life and briefly they said yes, without explaining anything else. It was a lot of money to a broke college student but I desperately needed the data from it. In short, my macbook of less than 1 year had liquid damage during final examination time and caused me lots of trouble and headache. Without having any documentation or any form of writing of what they were doing to my laptop, I agreed to let the repair proceed via a phone call. Later, I found out that all they did was cleaning up the short circuit instead of replacing it. The laptop can't be turned on unless the power adapter is plugged in. I was shocked when they asked if I'd like to replace the battery for an additional fee of $125 or pick up the laptop for almost $600. At this point, it's no certainty that they won't say there's more issues. That means the $75 "Diagnostic Test" you pay to them initially is basically nothing. They were rude and unethical, lied to my brother that they sent me an email explaining that they were only "fixing" (cleaning up liquid) the board. I would not agree to it if I knew what they were doing. They refused to sell out just the hard drive, and also refused when I showed them the coupon I found online. I literally had no sleep that week just trying to make up the missing work and could have done terribly because they would not let me get access to my laptop unless I pay $575. I learned a big lesson not to trust any business out there from this experience. And not ever come back to this store and give as much awareness to my friends and family about these money hungry, unethical people. I hope there won't be anyone else falling in their trap again. If you have a macbook, please stick with apple store or sell it out if you can so at least you don't feed it to people like these.
