  • The Cabana Suites staff were the WORST!!!! The front of house really need to brush up on their customer service skills, and quickly. We had a lot of issues with our room, parking and even trying to print out out boating passes. When we arrive to the hotel, they had a different room for us I had to pull up my Expedia confirmation to show that I did in fact book a suite. When we arrived the room itself is really cute. To get a little bit more comfortable I like to check the bed to make sure that there's no bugs and check the cleanliness of the room. First they don't even have mattress covers. The mattresses themselves, are very old and outdated. We ask for a non-smoking room there were cigarette burns on our blankets. Around the base boards near the bed it look like they had put maybe a carpet cleaner or some type of white dust that was not cleaned up. I went to check out the bathroom the shower head was disgusting and the shower floor looks like you would want to wear flip-flops in the shower. The sink backed up every time it was turned on, as well as the toilet had a hard time Flushing. And the entire bathroom floor was sticky I ended up getting on my hands and knees to wipe up the bathroom floor. When I went to grab a towel a very large brown mark on the towel. I called downstairs I let them know all these things but because it was New Year's Eve there was no other room for us to go to. And my opinion I thought they might have offered us something but they didn't and that's okay. The next day was New Year's Eve we went out and about and came home in the evening only to find that there was no parking. I let the front desk know this as well again all I said is a holiday there was no real apology again I thought they might offer to something but they didn't and that's okay. New Year's Day I went ahead and call down to the front desk and spoke with a gentleman and asked if we could have a late check-out assuming that they would see if we had all these other issues that maybe the late check-out would be complimentary and that was not offered they wanted to charge me 20 more dollars to stay until 2 p.m. I thought this was a little outrageous considering most late check-outs at least in that area that I've stayed or 4 p.m. or later. At this point I was a little bit annoyed and asked if we could stay until 4 p.m. and the gentleman agreed. The next morning I called down to make sure that nobody was going to disturb us, the woman I spoke with said that she could not let us stay until 4 that we had to be out by 2 and if we stay any longer that she would be charging us housekeeping try to come in around 1. There was no apology again and when I asked print out my boarding passes they said I could go across the street and pay at the kiosk. They could not even offer me courtesy print out just because I've had so much s*** go wrong there.... Long story I know... But there's no way I would ever stay here again I wouldn't recommend it to anybody I really enjoy the casino and I really enjoyed all the other staff members of the hotel and can see you except for the front desk of the Cabana Suites. I really hope that management takes a look at their behavior and reprimands them accordingly.
