  • Stars: 2- Pros: Rather pleased with the haircut. Done well and quickly. 15 minutes, I think. Cons: A normal haircut without anything is $30. That's expensive (for a guy). They trimmed the back of my neck and the sideburns, but did not shave the back or the sides clean. Why is this a con? Because other barbers like Quintana's (on S. Taylor) offer a shave with a straight razor free. Quintana's is $20. And a bit more comparison on the pricing, even chain salons like Hair Cuttery offers shampooing and conditioning hair + a normal cut for around $20 as well. The staff here are alright. They do not seem to be interested in who you are and do not strike up conversations well. This is nitpicky, I can imagine, but I do feel more comfortable when the barbershop cares to converse / know who I am / talk about sports, etc. Bottom line: Please compare this with my review of Quintana's.
