| - Funky-little-shack. Funky, little shack. If my frequent visits to my parents' town take me to Kent, Off the Wagon is near the top of my list. It's a mid-sized gift and novelty-item shop that includes whimsical little finds, such as 12 different kinds of funny Band-Aids, Walking Dead key chains, candy you thought vanished decades ago (Fruit Stripe, Razzles) or various mustache-and-bacon themed sundries.
But you can also find thought-provoking board games, an interesting book or two, and fun little figurines from current cult TV shows (when I last went, it was Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, etc.) You can also count on a nice selection of snarky coffee mugs, silly little notebooks, and maybe even a vaguely inappropriate baby onesie or two.
The employees are funny and nice, and don't seem to mind the frequent browsing everyone does before finally settling on what they actually like enough to bring home.
