I have never shattered an iPhone before in the 6 years I've had them. I somehow managed to shatter mine Saturday 9/9 and brought it in on Sunday 9/10. They had it in and out in an hour and it looked fine. Thursday 9/14 I already started having problems with malfunctioning and the touch screen wasn't responsive for 15+ minutes, but I was leaving town the next day so I had no time to take it back in. Friday 9/15 while I was using my phone for directions to drive out of town at 9am, it happened AGAIN and wouldn't respond for 15+ minutes and I reset it three times before it finally worked again. Saturday 9/16 it fell off a table with a tempered glass screen protector and the same Speck brand case I've used to protect it over the years that has only failed me once. It shattered. As I'm looking at the screen now, it's pretty obvious the glass is not very durable and looks thin. I took it back in after already paying $153 to fix this screen the first time only for them to tell me they could only help me out by taking 20% off. No way am I spending ANOTHER $130 yo fix it when it should've been good enough quality to be durable in a screen protector and case. Unfortunate I will be going elsewhere.
