I have now eaten at Uncle Angelo's several times and I think it is the best value for Italian in Las Vegas. The food is fantastic and the prices are even better. They need to hire a marketing person. I often times go there to eat around 9pm and it seems like the place is empty but don't let that fool you. When you sit down and order your drinks ask them to bring out complimentary homemade bread and an awesome dipping oil that has huge chunks of shredded garlic in it. Jerry's Nugget owners own an olive farm in Greece and they make their own olive oil. Wow who does that. I had their salad with Creamy Italian and that dressing is fantastic. Tonight I had the Traditional Stromboli for $10 and it was absolutely fantastic. Stuffed thick with pepperoni and cheese oozing from it. The sauce they brought on the side was also excellent. And its Huge! I had their Calzone before and it was pretty good but I preferred the Stromboli. I have had pizza there twice before and both were excellent. I had the Shrimp Scampi pizza which had a nice thin crust and is a White pizza with smaller shrimp on it. Some might find it a little greasy but the flavor and cheese was outstanding. I also had the Nugget pizza which was loaded and especially liked the artichoke hearts on it. I am not a bud drinker but during the week if you order a large pizza they give you a free picture of beer. The first time I tried this they gave you a picture of Fat Tire Beer which I really like but they don't serve that anymore. Scott our server did a terrific job. I will be back!
