  • So I walk into the post office before 5 o'clock on 6/21/16, there's not a door closed or any indication that they weren't helping anyone after certain time. There was a short line waiting for service at the counter in which there was only one woman ahead of me. I stood there for while. I patiently waited around. As I was just patiently waiting, I had then decided to locate a return confirmation card start filling it out, just so that way I don't have to inconvenience the postal worker or have them to wait longer for me to fill out the card. I walked around looking for the right card didn't find anything. Then all the sudden one of the Filipino lady postal workers looked at the clock and yelled yes I know it's after 5 o'clock. That means I get to go home. Then all of a sudden this black woman postal worker with dreads announces that the lady ahead of me is the last person to be helped. I had already spent some time already waiting on line at this point. I said the postal worker ,hold on a minute I was standing behind her and there's no one else behind me. She continued to explain to me that that "doesn't matter". It's after 5 o'clock. I was like I understand it's after 5 o'clock but I'm already inside. I'm already waiting on line. And she still continues that it "doesn't matter". She kept emphasizing that over. I reminded her that is very poor customer service and she continued to reply back that it "doesn't matter" We are closed. I said if you are closed how is that I have been online for a while. Why , hasn't any barrier been place to indicate your closed, she replied by blaming the other postal worker for failing to do so. Before I started to leave the other postal worked started to place the barrier. I then turned back to the black counter lady, and reminded her that now its closed and there is now real reason why I cant be helped. She continued to say that doesn't matter. This black postal worker woman and this postal office is very rude unprofessional and lack basic customer courtesy. And then on top of that as I was leaving in a very sarcastic way she tells me have a "blessed day". She was very condescending and obnoxious. Shes hardly a religious person because she lacks compassion and professionalism.
