  • Visited The Gilbert House with my sister while in town on a Friday morning, there was no wait and the food came super fast! I ordered the corn beef hash and my sister ordered the eggs Benedict. They were both very delicious! The waitress wouldn't let my sister change out the meat on the Benedict for extra hash browns even though she's been here multiple times and they've always done that. They even suggested it to her when she said no meat during her first visit to The Gilbert House. Our waitress was not the best as you can tell... she brought out the wrong food for me at first (but quickly changed it after I told her). She also brought out our check quickly without asking if we needed anything else. Like uhhh we need the cinnamon roll duh... haha. Other than our odd server, everything was great. Give it a try next time you're brunching!
