| - It would be better if the server listens to the customer's order, submit the order, and when the order comes out, CHECK the order against what is actually on the plate. I ordered pancakes, with eggs over medium and bacon. What came out was pancakes, scrambled eggs, and a sausage. I pointed out that, there are 2 mistakes on the plate. However, I will keep the egg, but do not wish to keep or eat the sausage. In fairness, the server did apologise, and said he'll bring out the bacon. The bacon did not arrive until I almost finished the pancakes and the eggs. The server brought the bacon on a small plate, told me to slide the bacon off of his plate on to mine. Then, the server asked me to put the sausage that was on my plate on to his plate.
First. Apology does not unring the bell!
Second. I hope the sausage was not recycled and got on to someone else's plate
Finally, I am certain the smug server expected his gratuity none-the-less. The management should train the servers more effectively.
