My husband and I went to Full Pint on a Groupon brewery tour ($50 for $100 value). We booked our tour in March through a pittsburgh based brewery tour. They were not knowledgeable about the facility, but were familiar with the brewery's best seller White Lightning so there was some upside.
The brewery is in a modified trucking garage (2-3 bays) and the "bar" side had a 1950' s diner/gas station presence. It was not equipped for a lot of traffic (30 customers at most). The bartenders were not enthusiastic or very helpful. The beer samples were poorly marked and what type of beer they were was not communicated until 10 minutes of them being out. Sadly, the samples were only available for 40 minutes at the longest.
The tour itself was informative, but one of the partners had their 6 year old son there who was loud, clingy and extremely distracting during entire tour. This just took away from the overall experience.
After our tour was done we were told that the remaining samples were thrown away and we could buy beer for the reminder of the stay. The disappointment here was that the beer was offered retail prices ($6-$9) rather than a discounted brewery's price.
The entire event was roughly 3 to 3.5 hours. The promotion stated food would be available, but the kitchen was under construction. The only food available to us were overpriced kettle chips.
