  • If you're looking for something adventurous to do in vegas look no further than the Nellis dunes ATV tour. Whether you've been on an ATV before or not, they make sure everyone has a safe and fun tour. If you are worried about driving an ATV yourself, they allow you to double up or ride with an instructor which is great if you are traveling with people who may not want to drive an ATV alone. Our tour guide Levi was fun and guided everyone through the terrain and ensured everyone would have all the knowledge they need to have a safe ride which was reassuring since I had only ridden an ATV once before. There are places to stop along the tour where you can take pictures and the guides provide you water which is much needed in the desert heat. We went in mid-October so it was a bearable temperature but I could imagine it could get extremely hot in the summer. An added bonus is that the Nellis airforce base is right there so throughout the tour the airforce fighter jets were flying over and stunt planes were in the air practicing for the Red Bull air race. Overall this was an awesome experience!
