| - This restaurant is amazing. I loved everything about it: the food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere, the farm to table, and the profits going to help those in need.
I was in Charlotte on business and we liked this place so much, we had to come back again. The cheese plate is excellent, with some really great local cheeses. Both times I had the scallops because they were so damn good, but the seven other people said all the dishes they had were fantastic too. The dessert was amazing - that freshly made bread pudding and the chocolate mousse really stood out.
Prices are very reasonable as well. Appetizers between $5-10, entrees between $15-25, and desserts around $8-10. For the quality, you'd be hard pressed to find a better more reasonable meal that tastes this good.
All in all, one of the best dining experiences I've had. If you're in town, you've got to try this place. If you live there, The King's Kitchen should already be your go to spot.
