We were apartment shopping and stumbled across this one. We were met by one of their sales reps who was nice and assisted us with what we were looking for. He provided the availability and pricing and then told us there was also an $18.00 HOA. We were a bit shocked. Why would a tenant be responsible for that fee? We do not own the property; just a renter. That turned us away. It's the fact the property should be absorbing that cost; not charging tenants.
The young man gave us the info and didn't offer to show us any apartments. So we assumed that he had provided the info and that was about it. Nothing super spectacular about his customer service.
We opted to look around and found a place better suited for the location and price and without any HOA fees.
