| - After interviewing dozens of contractors, we ultimately chose GI Construction and couldn't be happier. Jack was prompt in every appointment we had, listened attentively to all of our dreams, and then showed us pictures, demonstrating the talent of the GI Construction crew. He warned us that GI Construction was not the cheapest in town, but that they had the best crew that anyone could find to get the job done, and done right. He was absolutely right. Every other construction company interviewed either refused to work within our budget, or turned out to be unlicensed. Jack presented an initial quote that fit within our budget, and included all of the areas we wanted done. More importantly, I could not find one negative review anywhere on the internet, and I confirmed that they were licensed with the Nevada State Contractor's Board with absolutely no administrative proceedings against them.
Work began on time, and progressed faster than initially anticipated. Our new tile was installed within a short two week period, along with other repair work and changes. The tile work was simply beautiful! Grout lines are 1/16th of an inch and even throughout the entirety of our home. It was so amazing that I commissioned GI Construction to complete additional work, such as tiling the remaining tub/shower combinations; so that all of the bathrooms in my home would have a consistent and beautiful look as well.
Jack kept in constant daily contact, even during weekends and holidays. He was very patient, and always willing to answer my questions and explain the different processes for each aspect of the job to make sure that we could make informed decisions regarding the project.
The experience of the whole team at GI Construction cannot be overstated. Jack knew from the beginning that we would need to paint (and in some areas, repaint), and exercised lots of patience and professionalism until I came to the same conclusion. Painting was not initially included in the quote. Jack and I were able to negotiate terms that allowed us to have the finished home we dreamt of, including new paint.
Jack assured me that when his company encountered construction defect (or similar) issues, they would be immediately brought to our attention. Jack delivered on this promise 100% every time, even when he expected me to freak out. Jack gave us options, pricing, as well as provided a detailed explanation of how his crew would repair them. Once again, the professionalism and flexibility of both GI Construction and Jack was impeccable, as we again were able to negotiate terms to resolve the issues.
GI Construction and Jack continuously demonstrated how much they cared about our home in numerous ways. When my husband decided that he wanted a mop sink instead of the plastic utility sink that existed in the laundry room, GI Construction went the extra mile (and then some!) to make this a practical reality.
Every home and construction project is different, and each comes with their unique challenges. Our project experienced its share of frustrating issues and unexpected delays. Jack fought on our behalf to keep costs down and stuck to the negotiated terms with other suppliers. We would not have been able to continue to work with some of the suppliers without GI Construction's complete involvement.
Our home is our greatest financial asset. The work that GI Construction did substantially improved our investment. Our home has features that rival those that one would expect to find in multi-million dollar homes, and none of them would be possible without the efforts of GI Construction. We fall in love with our home more each day, and we have become lifetime fans of GI Construction. GI Construction is now our first choice for any future home improvement dreams.
