  • My brother and his fiance were in town and they said that they wanted some AYCE sushi. They only have one AYCE sushi place near where they live and they said most of the rolls are basically cream cheese and rice rolls with a sneeze of fake crab or tuna. Those poor kids. So I went on a mission to take them to fun and decent places for AYCE sushi while in Vegas. This place has such a large menu and I also liked that they had "normal" food for my Dad who has an aversion to sushi. He was happy as a clam to order an a la carte teriyaki dinner and he loved all of it. His only complaint was that he asked for french fries but he got mashed potatoes instead. The other 4 adults in the party did AYCE and we went pretty hard on the rolls and nigiri. The variety was pretty cool although some seemed to be a lot of repeats with maybe a small variation in an ingredient. But I do I like that they had a variety of no-rice rolls, Tuna Naruto being my favorite. My second favorite was the Big Easy roll with their garlic ponzu sauce. The poke salad was a little off and did not taste very fresh to me. Sometimes they were a little slow in coming back around to get our orders again and it was not busy just yet because we had started eating dinner at 5:30pm. The waitress was sweet but seemed very inexperienced. She brought us the wrong roll a couple of times and did not know the menu very well. Even just trying to get them to give us the check took a while. By that time, people were lining up waiting for a seat, so we wanted to get out of there so the table to could be turned over. Ultimately, we all left very stuffed and satisfied. All of that accomplished without ordering a single gross cream cheese roll.
