I drove all the way down from southern Utah to see about getting a new s1000rr. I called twice before making the trip about demoing one and was told I should be able to get on one no problem, after driving all the way down they wanted to run my credit first. I filled out the paperwork and then when I was done writing I gave him my license to take a copy down and when he came back he told me I was not old enough to take a bike out for a demo. But that they could run my credit and see about getting me a bike, the salesman was very nice. I know that the s1000rr is a bad ass bike with lots of power and I have a few years of riding experience but I didn't want to walk out with that expensive of a bike without riding it first. So I didn't let them run my credit. Overall my experience wasn't too bad, but I was very bugged by the fact I drove over 2 hours to be told I can't actually demo the bike. Especially cause I was told twice on the phone all I needed was some gear and my endorsement to ride it.... Pretty frustrating..
