| - We came here with average expectations. They were not met.
At check in, we found the reserved room type was not available, so we were downgraded in order to get the two double beds we required.
In the room, the desk chair was broken.
Later, when we tried to leave the room, the door handle pulled straight off the door.
The front desk, and housekeeping manager all told me that the hotel manager would get back to us to address these issues; one week later - no contact.
Housekeeping never replaced the (a) in-room glasses, (b) coffee, or (c) ice bucket liners. Every night, we would have to call to have these replaced. The first call never worked, so after 20 minutes, a second call was required, every night for three nights.
Local calls cost $2 each.
I've stayed at the Montreal Intercontinental as well, you would be much better off taking your business there.
