  • Vdara is an awesome hotel. It started off as a condo project, but since they didn't all sell during the economic downturn it was converted to a hotel. This means all the rooms have kitchens and are more spacious than other hotels on the strip. I stayed in a city corner suite, and was very satisfied with the appointments and the layout. The soaking tub has a great view of the city and I used it twice a day. Pros: Awesome front desk staff (Ask for Mae, she's the best) Beautiful newer property with great views No Casino No Smoking Peaceful Starbucks Dog Friendly Close to everything Cons: Valet only Few dining options Room service was slow
