  • Let me start by saying that I absolutely love Plato's closet! I even go to ones out of state if I get the chance, nothing beats good deals on name brands! Now that being said I won't come back to this location. Im totally guilty of buying things and never wearing them so every now and then I clean out my closet and sell them at stores like Plato's closet as a way to purge but at the same time get store credit to shop and not technically spend more money! When I was reading the bad reviews on this store I ignored them because people are petty and I have never had problems at any other location. I came in with a TON of stuff, brand name heels, boots, coach purses, miss me jeans, Abercrombie and Fitch. For the most part it was all basically brand new. I awkwardly struggled to get the door open with my hands being full while the girls just stood there and watched. I dropped it off at the front and while they were going through it I shopped around. Already disappointed at there lack of brand name jean selection I moved onto tops where I basically gave up after seeing multiple shirts with stains and tiny holes, just as I was laughing at a blue windbreaker that had someone's name written on it in thick black sharpie on the rack the girl called me over to tell me that they were going to "pass" on everything because they were looking for more sweatshirts, jackets, jeans ie winter apparel (makes sense right?!) so when I questioned the multiple brand name jeans I had that are more expensive than the Aeropostale and target brand jeans they had on there racks some even still having tags on them! Oh well so then I asked about the brand new Abercrombie fur jacket that I literally just purchased last month but after washing one time it it shrunk and no longer fit and of course I couldn't return it to the store. According to the girl it is an "old style" ok clearly big name stores are not selling out of date clothing. Disappointed I left and went home to find that a straw cowboy hat that I had on top was now smashed at the bottom of the hamper of clothes to the point where I had to just throw it away because of careless employees. But again thanks to the great location on my moms side of town I was able to sell about 3/4 of my stuff and walked away with a ton of cute miss me jeans and cute tops! It's unfortunate that I have to drive across town but definitely beats shopping at a location that sells garbage and cheap brands!
