| - We are thrilled with the work that we just had done by Outdoor Xscapes and can't wait to partner with them this fall on our backyard project.
We recently moved into a home that needed a lot of TLC in both the front and the backyard. We met Joel at the home show in January and he came out to work up a design for us for our backyard. A few weeks later he was back with a design, we loved the design, but also based on the cost of the work we were looking to have done we had proposals out with other companies. Joel was very patient with us and always followed up with us (not constantly, but always a nice check in every few weeks). He came back to walk through the design again and we decided we wanted some things changed as a result of seeing some other designs. He was more then willing to accommodate our request and also walk through with us some pros and cons about what direction we were looking to change things. He made some very valid points that we wouldn't have thought about on our own.
During this 3 month process (length of time was on our end not theirs) we were in the processing of removing rock, shrub and trees from our front yard because we had plans to put in a sprinkler system and grass. I had been getting quotes from others to do the work, as we initially only wanted the sprinklers put in and we were going to do the curbing and grass ourselves. We ran into a lot of issues and decided to outsource the entire project. On one of Joel's stop overs to our home to talk about the back yard project we asked him if they would be willing to quote the front yard work. He was hesitant since he wasn't sure it was going to meet their cost minimum but he went ahead and measured and quoted everything. Based on the project size and cost he wasn't sure his company would do the front project without us signing the contract for the backyard first, but he said he would ask. We weren't ready to sign the contract for the back because we aren't looking to have it done until the fall and when you sign the contract you have to put a deposit down and we just weren't ready to do that. We were so thankful when Joel called and said he got our front yard project approved without us having to sign a contract to complete both the front and the back. We signed immediately.
The hardest part was the timeline, we got pushed out for about 6 weeks due to other larger projects they had on the calendar that had been pushed out due to rain earlier in the season. They were very clear with us about timeline. It was worth the wait, they did a fantastic job! They were able to push us up a week earlier and they showed up on time and were at our home about 10-11 hours. They were polite, worked hard and did an amazing job. We are so pleased with the work. Once they were done they cleaned up everything, you would have never known they were there working all day. They came out the next two days to follow up on the sprinklers and timers and to make sure everything was running OK. Joel was there for the beginning of the project and for the end. He managed the entire thing very well.
We are extremely happy, and are so excited to partner with Outdoor Xscapes this fall to get our dream backyard. Joel made the whole project seem effortless on our end and we are just thrilled with the work as well as the team that came out to do all the work. We would highly recommend them. They have great reviews on BBB and check out for licenses etc. Our entire experience was beyond expectations. Now I wish it was September already! :)
