| - "I'll take a gelato and hot chocolate!"
I know! It was a super weird combo but it was 9pm, we were craving ice cream, but it was cold out so we compromised. lol!
Let's start off with the gelato! There were tons of great flavours still available at night which was great! I hate when business are open late and there are no selections left. There was a great mix of flavours too. The classics like vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream... etc. And fun flavours like bubblegum, tiramisu, cappuccino, strawberry cheesecake, coconut and mango... and many, many more. Based off the gelato I would give this restaurant five stars but the drinks drag down the rating for me.
I ordered the hot chocolate and my friend ordered a cappuccino. She didn't like it at all, describing it as bland and a bit watered down. And, unfortunately, my hot chocolate could be described as the same. I was quite disappointed that my hot chocolate was bland. Which sucks because hot chocolate is probably the easiest drink on the planet to get right.
The prices were good, like $6 for two flavours of gelato and I think it was $4 for a medium hot chocolate. The location was easy to get to and right on the main street so I felt safe to walk home from the cafe. The atmosphere was family friendly and would a fun spot to get ice cream in the middle of the hot summer!
