  • We found this recently opened Indian food restaurant totally by accident. We had just watched a delightful Indian film at Shea 14 (The Lunchbox) and were wishing for Indian Food. As we drove away we noticed a notice under our wiperblades: an announcement of a nearby new Indian restaurant, Haweli! We drove right over and were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, the wait staff (and owners were there too). The food, was absolutely incredible. We did not eat much, a vegetable byriani, a yellow lentil soup, and my favorite Aloo Gobi, which is cauliflower and potatoes in a curry-like sauce. However it was enough to know we need to go back soon! We will definitely return when hungry for Indian food and recommend it very highly.
