I had the worst experience at the Ashley furniture store on Ray Rd in Chandler!!!! This store completely redeemed my horrible experience. I bought a house and went to the Chandler store to furnish it. I bought a complete bedroom set, tempurpedic mattress, eight person dining table with chairs, placemats, and serving dishware along with an office desk and chair, two rugs, a living room set and an eight foot mirror. Needless to say I spent a lot of money and the people at the Chandler location were terrible!!! They sent me the wrong placemats and then made me purchase new ones even though it was their fault! They acted like they were doing me a favor by discounting them to $50. Huge headache. Then the sales associates watched for over twenty minutes while my boyfriend and I bubble wrapped and taped up the mirror to carry out to the truck. They just stood by and stared at us. We made it about five feet from the exit door and this male sales associate came over and pushed me aside to carry it. He started bending the mirror and I told him to stop but he said I was wrong and then snapped the bottom piece of the mirror right off!! They didn't discount or help in anyway! They said I had to take it because I already bought it. Needless to say I was dreading going back to Ashley furniture. While my boyfriend and I were in north scottsdale we saw a different Ashley furniture and went in reluctantly. To our amazement the sales people were beyond courteous and extremely helpful!! Eric was a sales associate who walked us around the store looking for a console table. We didn't find anything we loved so he told us to go home and look online and if we see anything we like to come back in and he would be happy to help . The no sales pressure was a breath of fresh air. We went home we looked online and the next day we went in and Christopher H. and Elizabeth helped us purchase a console table. Thank you Chris and everyone at Ashley for changing our mind on how we view your company. You all were great :)
